A miniature antique Indian Mughal Art manner mixed media painting, ink, watercolors, gouache, and gold, laid down on paper. The painting depicts a scene with Emperor Jahangir weighs Prince Khurram, later crowned Shah Jahan. The upper part is adorned with portraits of Emperor Shahjahan and Queen Mumtaz and a medallion representing Taj Mahal to the center. Written with a calligraphy, in the upper part. The painting is decorated with a hand painted frame representing floral and foliage ornaments. Matted and framed. Circa: late 19th century.
