Signed and dated in the print, lower right. Johan Bernhard Georg Carstensen, 1812 to 1857, was one of the developers of Tivoli Gardens and a Danish army officer. Thor Bogelund Jensen, 1890 to 1959, was a Danish artist who worked primarily with posters. In Denmark he became the pioneer of poster art as a commercial art.
