Oil on canvas painting attributed to Manjit Bawa, 1941 to 2008, an Indian painter, student of Somnath Hore. Bawa is known for his distinctive use of color. The artwork depicts a man in a turban, a genie playing the flute, and a goat against the red background. Signed lower right. Undated. Jinn or genies are magical creatures present in Islamic culture and Eastern folklore.
