Attributed to Rimas Zigmas Biciunas, 1945, Lithuania. A Post Impressionist oil painting on board depicting a Country Girl. Framed and signed lower left. Has an inscription on the back. Rimas Zigmas Biciunas, with his landscapes, still lifes and portraits in bright colors, belongs to the naive folk section of the collection. Biciunas studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vilnius. His most frequent themes are allegorical compositions or scenes related to recreation. His style is close to naive art, expressionism and primitivism.
