Beregovoy Georgy Timofeevich 1921 to 1995, Honored Test Pilot of the USSR, Pilot Cosmonaut, Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, the only one who was awarded the first Star of the Hero for the Great Patriotic War, and the second for space flight.
