An Art Deco manner patinated bronze sculpture depicting a female figure with an archer after the original sculpture, Archery Shooter, c. 1925, by Pierre le Faguays, French, 1892 to 1962. The statue depicts a young Grecian female archer named Diana gracefully pulling her bow. Mounted on a figural stand. Signed with casting, Pierre le Faguays, on the stand. Pierre Camille Marie Le Faguays was a French Art Deco sculptor. He also used the pseudonyms Fayral, and Guebre. Le Faguays made statuettes, lamps and decorative objects.
