The samovar is adorned with a pair of handles made in a scrollwork design, and mounted on four legs made in a curved design. Marked with impressed factory and Russian Imperial with medals marks. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. A samovar is a traditional Russian metal container for boiling water. The Batashev factory based in Tula, Russia, functioned from 1819 to 1917.
