A vintage brass bust of a girl after the original bronze, Portrait of a Young Girl, by Sir William Ernest Reynolds Stephens, 1862 to 1943. Signed with casting, RS, on the backside. Mounted on a granite stand. Sir William Ernest Reynolds Stephens was an American-born British artist and sculptor. He was educated at Blackheath School of Art and the Royal Academy School. He exhibited there from 1886 until 1942. His work can also be seen at St Pauls Cathedral, Lambeth Palace and Southwell Minster.
