An antique Russian traveling Icon of the Maria Magdalena. The 19th century. The mixed media icon with egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood panel. The icon is overlaid with a Silver oklad or riza, adorned with engraved detailed patterns. Hallmarked 84 silver standard on the riza. The backside of the icon is covered with velvet. The icon has a ring for hanging. Russian Orthodox Religious Items and Collectibles. Total weight: 9.1 g.
