Soviet propaganda publication profusely illustrated with reproductions of photographs showing Moscow architecture and street scenery, Stalin and other Soviet officials, parades, citizens, workers, etc. It has two tipped in fold outs with artwork and photographs each at the rear of the book, printed on both sides as published. The motifs are images of Moscow of the Past in one, the other depicts Buildings preserved by the Soviet Government for their historical value. Design of the book is attributed to Alexander Rodchenko, Russian artist, sculptor, photographer and graphic designer; one of the founders of constructivism and Russian design.
