An antique, 1865, English London sterling silver teapot by A B Savory and Sons. The highly collectible, skillfully crafted teapot with a hinged lid is richly decorated with embossed foliage and Rococo motifs. The four teapot legs are modeled in the shape of animal paws. The hinged lid has a pointed end. The item is a remarkable addition to any silver teaware collection. Fully marked A B Savory and Sons, London, sterling silver hallmarks on the bottom.
