A Catholic traveling altar box. Ca. 1920s. A priests set for mass or communion for the sick or to deliver someones last rites before death. Wooden box with hinged lid and ormolu cross mount on top. The interior is lined with pink fabric. The set includes a holy water font, two etched dishes, candles with holders, books, spoon, a crucifix, absorbent cotton package, and a patch depicting Jesus Christ.
