Oil on canvas painting, after the 1786 Portrait of Lady Elizabeth Foster by Angelica Kauffman, 1741 to 1807, a Swiss Neoclassical painter. Elizabeth Christiana Cavendish, 1758 to 1824, was an English aristocrat and letter writer. She is best known as Lady Elizabeth Foster, the close friend of Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire.
