A lot of two antique Chinese Export, Ming Dynasty, blue and white Kraak porcelain dishes. Deep dishes are decorated with everted and lobed rim decorated with a central foliage medallion or a bird in a garden medallion surrounded by panels of floral sprays, foliage ornaments, and emblems. Coloured in a rich deep cobalt blue. The exteriors of the wares are adorned with swirl and geometrical motifs. Unmarked. Circa: 18th century. Kraak ware or Kraak porcelain is a type of Chinese export porcelain produced mainly in the late Ming dynasty, in the Wanli reign, but also in the Tianqi and the Chongzhen. It was among the first Chinese export wares to arrive in Europe in mass quantities, and was frequently featured in Dutch Golden Age paintings of still life subjects with foreign luxuries.
