An antique 19th century Russian icon of St. George. The mixed media icon with egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood panel with gold leaf patterns. Depicts St. George standing, dressed in Roman armor and a red cape, and holding a spear weapon in his hands. Inscribed in Church Slavonic in the central right and left parts.
