Ink, watercolor, and pencil on paper cartoon by John Gallagher, 1926 to 2005, one of the top American newspaper illustrators of the 1950s and 1960s. The artwork depicts a man with broken leg and his friend in the hosptial Inscription underneath: How did you do it, Harry? Chasing a blonde? Fall up a down escalator? Slip off a bar stool? Signed by the artist in the lower left. Undated. White mat, black frame. Label of Gail Severn Gallery is on the backside. Collectible Graphic Art, Americana.
