A large antique Japanese, Meiji era, footed bronze incense burner. The exterior of the ware is adorned with an engraved cloud motif and relief Calligraphy. The upper part is adorned with a female figurine on the top. The ware features a pair of figural handles made in a shape of a head of a Foo dog. Mounted on four curved figural legs featuring a head of a Foo dog, engraved with detailed patterns. Probably marked and numbered, on the bottom. Circa: early 20th century.
