An antique set of American sterling silver Ice Cream or Sherbet dessert cups with glass inserts. Twelve items total. Circa 1850 to 1890. The silver surface is decorated with an openwork pattern. Raised on a thin leg with a stable round base reminiscent of a goblet. Marked Sterling silver standard. Glass inserts are decorated with floral motifs. Collectible silverware, Tableware, And Serveware. Total weight of silver: 420 g.
