An antique made of Parian porcelain figurine Ganymede and the Eagle. After the original sculpture by Bertel Thorvaldsen, Denmark, 1770 to 1844. Depicts the mythological scene of a kneeling Ganymede serving as cupbearer to the gods on Mount Olympus and offering a cup of wine to the eagle. Marked Eneret T, blue three line mark on base.
