A vintage, mid 20th century, American signed intaglio etching on paper by Paul Beaver Arnold titled Don Quixote, 1952. The artwork depicts Miguel de Cervantess book character Don Quixote riding a horse. Signed by the artist lower right. Titled lower left. Label with descriptive information attached to the backside. Paul Arnold, 1918 to 2012, was an instructor of art at Oberlin College for forty-four years, from 1941 to 1985, and also was Chair of that Department part of that time. He was also an illustrator for chemistry, printmaking, and general humanities publications. Arnold lived in Oberlin, Ohio, and was active in the Ohio Valley Art Association and the Cleveland Art Association. Graphic Art Prints And Collectibles.
