Chauncey Addison Chon Day, American, 1907 to 2000, an original ink painting on paper depicting a scene with two men, probably an illustration for the New Yorker Magazine. Inscribed, The Black Six on The Red Seven, and Then Step Into My Office, Farnsworth, lower to the center. Signed lower right. Circa: mid 20th century. Framed. The artwork is covered with Plexiglas. An original paper label of Gail Severn Gallery is on the backside. Chauncey Addison Chon Day was an American cartoonist whose cartoons appeared in The Saturday Evening Post, The New Yorker and other magazines.
