A mid-20th century American designer necklace. Brutalist sterling silver pendant with 14K yellow gold details, set with cultures pearls and semiprecious stone cabochon. The pendant rests on a black string. Marked L. Katz, 14K, Sterling on the backside. Total Weight: 40 grams. L. Katz was a Jewish-American silversmith active in Boston, MA from the 1930s to the 1970s, and is associated with the American Studio movement. Collectible Designer Statement Jewelry, Silverware.
