A Central African hand carved wooden figurine from Mali, art of the Bambara people. The figurine is modeled in the form of an anthropomorphic female figure with horns on the top of the head, and large cone shaped breasts. They were used during ritual dances to celebrate the end of the initiation ceremonies. Mounted on a round shaped base. Completed with a stable square stand. Used for ritual purposes.
