A lot of two antique Persian textile items. The first is a decorative cotton thread woven purse bag decorated with a blue geometric beaded pattern. The second is Kalamkari cotton textile. The textile is adorned with traditional polychrome floral and foliage patterns. Circa early to mid 20th century. Kalamkari or Chitsazi is the Iranian art of applying designs to fabric, carried out both manually and using special printing stamps.
