A pair of high quality antique Japanese, early Meiji era, enamel over gilt copper vases. The exteriors of the wares are adorned with fan form polychrome enamel medallions representing cranes, birds, and sparrows surrounded by floral, foliage, foliate scroll, and dragon head ornaments made in the Cloisonne technique. The necks and the bases are decorated with floral, and foliate scroll, patterns made in the same technique. Circa: 1868 to 1877.
