A rare antique Japanese, early Meiji era, enamel over copper flower pot. The flower pot is enameled with polychrome enamel designs representing Phoenix bird, floral, and foliate scroll ornaments made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck and the base are adorned with foliage, foliate scroll, and geometrical patterns made in the same technique. The ware is mounted with three legs. Unmarked. Circa: late 19th century.
