An antique Japanese early Meiji Era enamel over copper brush pot. The sphere form pot is enameled with polychrome enamel floral and foliate scroll ornaments made in the Cloisonne enamel technique. The base and the neck of the ware are adorned with a geometrical pattern made in the same technique. Unmarked. Circa: 1868 to 1877.
