A pair of unusual shaped antique Japanese, early Meiji era, enamel over gilt copper vases. The exteriors of the wares are adorned with polychrome enamel designs representing a dragon surrounded by a cloud ornament made in the Cloisonne technique. The necks and the bases are decorated with a swirl motif made in the same technique. The bases are adorned with a lotus floral pattern made in the Cloisonne technique. Unmarked. Circa: 1868 to 1877.
