A set of four vintage American sterling silver cups or mini goblets by Gorham. The cups are raised on a stem and have a rounded body and a flared upper edge. Marked underneath Gorham Sterling and numbered 1311. Comes with the original box. Circa mid 20th century. The Gorham Manufacturing Company is one of the largest American manufacturers of sterling and silver plates and a foundry for bronze sculpture. Gorham Manufacturing Companys Works. Canal, Steeple, and North Main Streets, Providence, 1886 Gorham Silver was founded in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1831 by Jabez Gorham, a master craftsman, in partnership with Henry L. Webster.
