A German Scheibe Alsbach hand painted porcelain military figurine of Jean Lannes. The figurine is covered with polychrome enamel and decorated with gilded accents. Mounted on a figural base. Inscribed, Lannes, on the front of the base. Marked with a blue ink manufacturer mark on the bottom. Circa: the first half of the 20th century. Jean Lannes, 1769 to 1809, a French military leader, the first Duke of Montebello, Marshal of the Empire, and a participant in the Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars.
