An antique mid-19th century American copper medallion. Round piece representing a male figure with a gun in the center, encompassed with inscription Continental Lodge no. 117, IOOF, Inst. May 22, 1844. The Independent Order of Odd Fellows, or IOOF, is a non-political, non-sectarian international fraternal order founded in 1819 by Thomas Wildey in Baltimore, Maryland, US.
