A pair of antique Egyptian Grand Tour bronze figurines. The first is an amuletic figure of the funerary god Osiris. Osiris is depicted in a seated position, holding the scepter Heka and the flail Nekhekh against his chest, symbolizing his authority and power. The second figurine represents the goddess Mut, shown in a walking pose that signifies her role as a conveyor of kingship and the divine mother of the pharaoh. Date to the 19th century.
