Pedro Figari was a Uruguayan artist, lawyer, politician, journalist, philosopher, and writer. Figari wrote on many topics ranging from judicial matters to essays on education, aesthetics, and poetry. as a youth, he studied painting with the Italian Godofredo Somavilla, but his own style and unique vision were not revealed until 1921 when he moved to Buenos Aires. After four years of intense activity in Argentina, Figari moved to Paris, where he remained for nine years, ultimately reaching his artistic maturity. One of a kind artwork.
