A Russian watercolor painting on paper depicting a maquette for a poster for the play The Flea based on the play by Yevgeny Zamyatin, staged by the State Bolshoi Drama Theater, attributed to Boris Kustodiev, 1926. Inscribed in Cyrillic, lower to the center. Signed with initials. Boris Mikhaylovich Kustodiev, 1878 to 1927, was a Russian and later Soviet painter and stage designer.
