French style vintage jewelry box, crafted from gilded metal and adorned with intricate filigree, featuring symbols of the French Fleur de lis on each side. Adding a unique touch are four ornately embellished legs, shaped to resemble cherub ones in the style of Putti. The lid is made of durable glass and features an elegant handle. The jewelry box is lined with soft, red velvet fabric on the inside and the base is decorated with black velvet. Presumably made in Japan circa the late 20th century.
