A lot of two Peruvian handmade and painted gourds. Round gourds with complex multi-figure scenes including people and animals depicted throughout the surface. At the bottom of one of the gourds, there is a handwritten inscription Hand Made in Peru. The art of gourd carving is used as a means of storytelling and documentation and In Peru is the oldest and most traditional local handicraft.
