The artwork represents a portrait of a man in turban. Undated, ca. 1870s. Signed by the artist with initials in the lower right. Turquoise mat, wooden frame. In the 1860s, Tiffany was a student of the French academic artist Leon-Adolphe-Auguste Belly. During that time and the following decade, he often turned to the oriental genre.
