A small Japanese Imari footed bronze mounted porcelain bowl. The exterior of the ware is adorned with hand painted Imari medallions representing flowers, human figures and geometrical ornaments. The interior of the bowl is decorated with a hand painted scene with two human figures surrounded by blossoming flowers and butterflies in the center, and floral and foliage motifs on the sides. The bowl is adorned with a gilt bronze mounted border on the top featuring three birds figurines. Mounted on a gilded bronze stand with three figural legs. Marked with a red seal, on the bottom.
