An antique Japanese, Meiji era, Okimono bronze figural group representing a turtle family. The figural group depicts a large turtle mom with one baby turtle boy on the back and one little turtle boy hand in hand beside each other. Mounted on an oval shaped base. Signed with an impressed Calligraphy, under the base. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. Provenance: Private Collector, Rhode Island USA, Acquired Before 1961.
