A Russian Imperial silver gilt salt cellar modeled as a chair in a stylized shape based on the shape of the izba, a small house with a gabled roof. The chair has a lid that is covered to keep salt inside the seat of the chair. Engraved with detailed patterns. Hallmarked with an 84 Russian Imperial silver standard and master mark. Circa 1900. Russian Silver Ware, Table Ware And Serve Ware, Decorative Antiques And Collectibles Total weight: 132 g.
