An Imperial Russian gilt silver kovsh, of a traditional form, the body is adorned with raised Neo Russian patterns covered with polychrome enamel and set with semiprecious stones, garnets and a moonstone to the front side. The wide flat handle is decorated in the same style. Raised on a spread foot. Hallmarked with an Imperial Russian 84 silver standard and the Cyrillic makers mark, Khlebnikov. Ivan Khlebnikov is a jewelry company founded in 1871 in Moscow, which gained fame for making jewelry from gold, silver and precious stones.
