An ancient Roman Empire Gordian III Antoninianus silver coin, circa mid 3rd century AD. The obverse features a detailed bust of Emperor Gordian III, radiating, draped, and cuirassed, facing right. The reverse depicts Aequitas, the personification of fairness and equity, standing front with head turned left, holding scales in her extended right hand and a cornucopia in her left hand.
