An ancient Roman silver tetradrachm coin. Roman Empire, province of Syria, Elagabalus, 218 to 222, Tetradrachm. The obverse is the head of the emperor wearing a laurel wreath, turned to the right. The reverse is an eagle sitting on the ground frontal, spreading its wings, head turned to the left, a wreath in its beak, and a star between its legs.
