An ancient Pre Columbian Peruvian ceramic ritual vessel from Recuay culture. Circa 200 to 700 AD. The vessel is round in shape and has a neck that widens upward. Hand painted in polychrome, including geometric patterns and a toothy wolf like monster with an open mouth. The flat top of the vessel is decorated with a complex multi figure ritual scene with a group of five people standing around the leader.
