A rare ancient elaborately carved pottery vase of the Maya people. Vases of such a red shade with embossing are rare among Maya ceramics. The picture was deeply engraved on two stamps and then applied to the wet clay of the vase to form a relief pattern inside the recess. Before firing, the phase was dried in the sun and colored. After firing, it acquired the delicate red color that it has to this day. The picture shows a scene of several people, most likely with an offering. Collectible Historical Artifacts, Archaeological Finds And Relics.
