A Russian rectangular cigar box made of silver with a surface inlaid with plates of malachite and lapis lazuli. The lid has a relief plate in the form of a double headed eagle with a shield covered with white enamel and decorated with a ruby colored cabochon. For ease of opening, the lid has a protruding oval, also decorated with a larger ruby-colored cabochon. Features a gilt wash interior. Marked with an 88 Russian Imperial silver standard hallmark, and other Russian hallmarks. Russian Silver Jewelry, Desktop Accessories, Table Wares, Home Decor And Collectibles. Total weight 335 g.
