A miniature Russian 88 Silver figural stirrup cup representing an Imperial guards helmet with a gilt crowned eagle finial, engraved with detailed patterns. The helmet is adorned with a gilt star etched with the motto, For Faith and Fidelity. Gilt and niello decor. Hallmark of 88 silver standard and makers mark are on the backside, finial, and strap. Stirrup cups were drinking vessels commonly used by hunters to drink on the go in the 18th and 19th centuries. Collectible Silverware, Barware And Tableware, Shot Glass Cup. Weight 68 g.
