A Russian silver pitcher finely cast and chased in the trompe loeil technique to resemble woven birch bark. Features a gilt bee placed on the surface. Gold washed inside. Hallmarked with an 84 Russian Imperial silver standard, George the Victorious for Moscow,, an assay mark AA under the date 1889 and the makers marks.
