Adolf Lins, German, 1856 to 1927, oil painting on board depicting a rural scene with a cat and ducks in a landscape. Signed lower left. Framed. Adolf Lins was born in 1856 in Kassel, Germany. He loved to depict geese and other birds in his paintings. Even in paintings with people, he often painted children, birds are almost always present. This German artist belonged to the Dusseldorf Art School, one of the most influential German and European painting schools. One of a kind artwork.
