A vintage Italian, lot of three items. The lot includes two Orders of the Crown of Italy of different sizes with ribbons and a historical photo of a man in military uniform and helmet, hand-signed on the reverse side in Italian and dated 1950. The Order of the Crown of Italy was an award of the Kingdom of Italy. It was established by King Victor Emmanuel II of Italy on February 20, 1868 to commemorate the unification of Italy. The Order was intended to reward civilians and military persons who, both Italians and foreigners, had performed significant good deeds that directly related to the interests of the nation. After 1946, the award was replaced by the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, but until March 18, 1983, the end of his life, King Umberto II continued to award the Order of the Crown.
